LIST OF MIGRATORY BIRDS
LIST OF MIGRATORY BIRD SPECIES WINTERING ON HAWAII
Here’s a list below of MIGRATORY birds that visit Hawaii for the winter.
Most migratory species come from breeding grounds in the Arctic, but some pass through Hawaii from their breeding grounds in the South Pacific (Australia, New Zealand) en route to their ‘wintering grounds’ in the North Pacific.
Many species may come from either Siberia or Alaska, as they breed in the Arctic on both sides of the Pacific Ocean.
Species below with no location origin are from North America (NA).
